Shed Kits
If you need extra storage space, a shed can be the perfect solution. Shed kits are an ideal way of extending your property, with the minimum of fuss. Not only are they one of the most economical ways to add more storage, they are as easy to construct as a child's aircraft model kit! Minus the small fiddly pieces! Putting one together is certainly not rocket science! Once you have yours together, you might even think that you could have managed a more elaborate or even larger one.
It is advisable to have two people, four pairs of hands, to put the shed together. One to hold the sections, whilst the other person screws in the holding brackets. If you are purchasing a large shed kit, it may be to your advantage to ask the supplier if they can erect the shed for you. It may cost a little bit more, but if something goes wrong, whilst the shed is being erected, the supplier is responsible for putting it right. Plus your guarantee remains intact. The first thing to do, is create a good solid foundation for the shed. A twelve inch deep pad of concrete and steel is best. Allowing six inches extra, on each side, excess to the size of your shed. This is not as difficult as it might sound. After erecting your shed, bolt it onto the concrete base, this is very important. Some wood sheds will arrive with the wood pre treated. If not, spray with a recommended treatment before putting together.
Once your shed is up, it should give years of use, without hindrance. Plus add so much character to your garden. Shed kits have progressed rapidly in recent years. Lots of new options, like internal electrics and fitted lights. Accessorized sheds can include skylights, sliding patio doors, under floor heating, patios and even spas! They can be made to your own specifications on size and style. In effect, shed kits can be a simple garden shed, or on the larger scale, they can be virtually another home at the bottom of the garden! So no matter what your needs are, a shed, can be anything that your own imagination might conjure up. Whether its sole use is for garden tools or just to store old junk in. Maybe even an escape, when the mother-in-law arrives, on her not scarce enough visits!
